Getting Started: File Your Candidacy
Filing takes just a minute. After payment, you will receive access to the Candidate Filing Google Form, which includes both filing details and the candidate questionnaire. When you submit it, your campaign is created automatically.
1) Choose Your Office
Select what you are running for and pay the filing fee using the correct button below.
After payment, you will receive access to the Candidate Filing Google Form.
2) Complete the Filing Form + Questionnaire
The form covers everything needed to launch your campaign, including the questionnaire. You will:
- Choose a candidate name (real or fictional).
- Follow naming rules: no identical names to existing real-world public figures.
- Confirm your office (House, Senate, or Governor).
- Answer questionnaire items that establish your starting standing and metrics.
Submitting the form auto-creates your campaign and sets your initial metrics.
3) What Happens Next
- Your starting metrics are set from your questionnaire responses.
- Fundraising begins automatically based on those metrics.
- You can start making spending decisions through the Candidate Spending Form.
