Today, I’m proud to announce that I am running for the United States House of Representatives to serve the people of Wisconsin and Michigan.
My name is Lily Arcadia, and I was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. I grew up around shop floors, small businesses, and hardworking families who built this region with their bare hands. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when bad policies ship jobs overseas, overregulate our industries, and leave the Midwest behind. I’m running because the hardworking families of the Lakeshore region deserve a representative who understands what’s at stake: good-paying jobs, strong infrastructure, fair taxes, and a future we can believe in.
My Platform Focuses on Six Priorities for the Lakeshore Region:
1. Economy & Jobs
The Midwest was built on industry, innovation, and grit. I will fight to bring back American manufacturing, support small businesses, and create an environment where companies can grow and hire right here at home. That means cutting red tape, standing up to unfair foreign competition, and putting American workers first.
2. Infrastructure & Technology
We need modern infrastructure that supports a 21st-century economy. That means repairing roads and bridges, strengthening our ports and rail, expanding reliable rural broadband, and securing our energy grid. Wisconsin and Michigan should lead in advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, and next-generation industry.
3. Taxes & Government Spending
Families in our region live within their means, and Washington should too. I will fight for lower taxes on working families and small businesses, eliminate wasteful spending, and push for a more accountable federal government. We cannot continue to saddle our children with unsustainable debt.
4. Labor Rights & Unions
Our auto workers, farmers, tradesmen, nurses, and small business employees built the middle class in this region. Workers deserve safe conditions, fair treatment, and the freedom to make the choices that best support their families, without federal intervention.
5. Environment & Energy
We are blessed with some of the most beautiful land in America. From the Great Lakes to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, we must protect our natural resources while also ensuring energy independence. I support practical conservation, responsible development, and an all-of-the-above American energy strategy that lowers costs for families and reduces reliance on foreign nations.
6. Agriculture & Food Security
Our farmers are the backbone of Wisconsin and Michigan. I will fight to protect family farms from overregulation, strengthen supply chains, and ensure America remains food secure. Supporting local agriculture means supporting rural communities and protecting a way of life.
This campaign is about restoring opportunity, strengthening our communities, and making sure the Midwest isn’t just an afterthought in Washington, but a leader once again.
