My fellow Pacificans,
I am delighted to announce to you today that I am running in the Democratic Primary for Senate in Pacifica.
I would like to take this time to tell you some things about me. I'm proud to be a Nurse and that's what has motivated me to run for Senate. I've seen far too many people struggle to pay their medical bills. People who are only in hospital because they were unable to afford medication that would prevent them from getting worse. People who went undiagnosed for far too long because they couldn't afford the time off work to get a check up from the Doctor.
These are only some of the reasons why I am proud to support Medicare for All, we must take the fight to the wealthy and tell them that enough is enough. People are dying because of this war on the disadvantaged and I would love to fight for you if you give me the opportunity.
I know that many of you would like a Senator who is for the environment and while I am a proud Environmentalist I also value honesty and I want to be open with you, I will not push for measures that will increase costs to everyday Pacificans, that's why I am proud to support an increase of taxes on the biggest polluters in Pacifica because they should be the ones that pay the burden as they are the ones who are causing the damage.
